Dockable Windows

What are they? Dockable windows are windows that can be moved freely or be placed at fixed positions left/right/top/bottom of the screen.

The tables for Geometry (Grid lines/levels, Nodes, Profiles and Members) and the tables for Loads (Load cases, Member loads, Node loads and Combinations) can be displayed or not.

You can enter your structure entirely graphically, whereby the use of tables is not really necessary. Still it can be handy to see data such as the node coordinates in a table. That is possible. But in contrast to many other programs you can also make all changes in those tables. It does not matter. Drawing graphically or numerical input via tables can be done at the same time. After every change all tables are updated and the structure is redrawn. And of course the undo and redo functions work.

The windows can be placed as 'floating' (so at an arbitrary position inside but also outside the screen), or be 'docked' left/right/top/bottom in the main screen. This gives a lot of freedom. You set yourself what you find pleasant. The program remembers this setting so that you only have to do this once. Naturally you can always change it.

In this way, when using 2 computer screens for example, the structure can be shown graphically full screen on one screen and the tables on the other screen.
