Internal Hinge

A hinge in a member can easily be added in the graphical screen. In the menu bar choose In this mode you can add several hinges with the left mouse button. While placing you see the coordinates at the bottom right of the screen.

When you place a hinge, a new node lying on the member is generated and the member concerned is split into 2 members with a hinged connection. Any member loads are automatically distributed or split as well.

This functionality is mainly intended to enter a Gerber beam quickly.
