Standard Supports

Type Description
Pinned Pinned - Fixed in x and z, free rotation
Roller X Roller X - Fixed in z, free in x and rotation
Fixed Fixed - Fixed in x, z and rotation

Spring Supports

Type Description
Z-spring Z-spring - Translation spring in z-direction
X-spring X-spring - Translation spring in x-direction
R-spring R-spring - Rotation spring around y-axis

Custom Support

You can also compose a custom support by combinations of:

  • Fixed or free in x-direction
  • Fixed or free in z-direction
  • Fixed or free in rotation
  • Spring stiffness in any direction
