Members
Members connect two nodes together.
Input
Members can be entered in two ways:
- Graphically - Click on the start node and drag to the end node
- Numerically - Enter the start and end node via the table
Properties
- Member number - Unique number for each member
- Start node - Number of the start node
- End node - Number of the end node
- Profile - The assigned profile
- Lateral supports - Number of lateral supports or free lateral distances
Member Groups
In connection with lateral stability, members can be grouped. Per member group, the buckling length out of plane and the lateral distances are entered.
