Workflow

The workflow in XBeam2d is very intuitive and consists of the following steps:

1. Enter Geometry

• Define nodes by entering coordinates or drawing graphically
• Connect nodes with members
• Assign profiles to members

2. Define Supports

• Select nodes that serve as supports
• Choose the support type or compose a custom support

3. Enter Loads

• Create load cases
• Enter member and/or node loads
• Define load combinations

4. Perform Calculation

• Check the input
• Start the calculation
• View the results

5. Analyze Results

• View the M, V and N diagrams
• Check the deflections
• Generate the calculation report
